I thought I would stop by and let you all know I'm still well. I'm avoiding going out and spitting firewood.

My heart goes out to everyone, especially you guys who were so much support when I was sick and my brain didn't work... and are still here, MR, betty, marnie and Lymetoo.

Gluten intolerance turned out to be the underlying compromising agent of my immune system. Mal-nutrition wreaked havic with every system of my body. Slowly, my body is healing it self. I have been eating organically from my own garden since April, the improvement in my hair and nails is staggering. My fall veggies, butternut squash, kale and chard seem to be improving my vision.

I think freshness is key. The stuff in stores just doesn't look fresh or appitizing to me. My freezer is full and I have 15 quarts of tomatoes. I could make it till January before I have to buy veggies.

I do buy small amounts of regular meat, but mostly eat beans and brown rice with the veggies. I cook dry beans, avoiding the plastic lining on the inside of cans. I buy antibiotic free eggs and drink well water rather than the flouride laced city water from my tap.

Something still causes inflammation in my joints. I'll figure it out.

Mel

good for you Mel!

I am feeling a little better and hope that it continues so that I am able to have a big organic garden next summer.

You are right, freshness is important. Most grocery produce has lost most of its nutritional value by the time it makes it to our tables.

thank you for sharing your update, nice to see a positive post.
