sorry, I haven't been on in a while, been really sick. My Dr. prescribed meropenem, I have had bad neuro lyme for sometime. This is my first week, and I am starting to herx. Also, my arms and legs are swollen soooo much, they are very painful.

Is is normal to swell during herxing? Will it go away?

Has anyone had a good outcome with meropenem?

I have not seen anybody until now treating with 'penem' abx.
