I started taking Iordoral 2 weeks ago. Started with 1 tablet daily and worked my way up to 4/day within a weeks time. I took 4 tablets for a couple of days and woke up one morning feeling awful! Weak, fatigue worsend, lymph nodes swollen and sore under my arms.

Since that day I have dropped back to 1tab/day and I feel pretty rough....Joint pain, eye lid twitching, facial numbness, muscle pain, brain fog is a little worse.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Iodine. I've done a search but did not find alot of personal experiences.

Thank you....Brad

That sounds like what I went through, only for me, it was going from one pill to two. It took me several weeks to work up to two pills. If I recall, the detox symptoms lasted for awhile, too. It was pretty unpleasant.

Iodine in the right amounts flushes out accumulated halogens in your system which include fluorine, bromine, and (brain not working right) ...I think one other one that eludes me. Anyway, what that means is that stirring up all that toxic stuff can cause a lot of detox discomfort as it leaves your body.

Ah....chlorine is the one I forgot.

Iodine can kill many "bugs" and it is their toxins that are making you sick...need to start out slower by taking at least 5-7 days to work up to the next level (or pill in this case).

Also probably need to take some milk thistle and either glutathione or n-acetyl cysteine to get the toxins cleared.

Taking Iodine has allowed me to get off of Armour Thyroid...which means I am helping my thyroid make what it is supposed to and I am not down regulating it with exogenous hormone causing it to eventually completely shut down.

There are a lot of articles on the internet about Iodine and human health...if you can't find what you are looking for email me and I will try to send you some links...but this week is not good for me as I am preparing for a colonoscopy.
