the muscles in my arms where they attach to the shoulders is so sore you can't touch me. heck, all my muscles stay sore. i don't even like to be touched anymore.

i've tried flexerall, biofreeze, capsacin, you name it. i even paid 14 bucks for a tube of that alcis at walgreen's. so so....

is there any topical cream that you use that really helps with the soreness and pain? and reasonabley priced too...

i'm flat out of options...

I sometimes use arnicare cream.

It does take the edge of my sole pain. I know the vitamin shoppe sells it (i am sure other health stores do to)

Venex, bee venom ointment. Not inexpensive, about $27/tube, but very helpful.

I know that you said that it hurts so bad that you can't stand to be touched. Do you think it could be toxin or some kind of buildup in those muscles that deep tissue massage would relieve?

My chiropractor had a couple of massage therapists in his office that I go see when I'm hurting. I work with computers at a desk all day so I get pretty sore in those muscles.

Hi there Randibear,

I was recently prescribed something for tendon/joint pain.

It's a custom made lotion with 15% Ketoprofen and 10% Glucosamine. It's called KG and I get it from Custom Pharmacy Solutions located in Hoover Alabama.

Course I also take pain meds and muscle relaxers.

I also use ice or heat depending on if I have swelling/ice or pain/heat.

Prescription cream with diclofenac sodium works great for me if the reason of the pain is due to swelling.

Diclofenac sodium is an anti-inflammatory that you can also get in pill form, I stay away from prescription anti-inflammttory pills due to fear or causing more gut problems.

Hopefully the risk is reduced by taking it in a cream instead of a pill.

Hi Randibear,
I use sorenomore roll-on warm therapy.(My chiropractor uses it in his practice)

It's quick and easy to use and the roll-on is great for "waking up in the middle of the night pain" around knees, shoulders, muscles. Hands don't get messy. Roll-on "cool therapy" is good too.
