Just wondering if anyone has any symptoms similar to this. Everyday for various periods of time i get fever like symptoms, my face feels hot and I actually get damp and sweaty on my upperlip area only. Also my nose feels very dry. It feels like some sort of sinus infection. Strange thing is my temperature is always normal and I have no congestion, sore throat or swollen glands, but I feel like im burning up. My llmd told me it was tonsilitis and said my throat looked raw although it feels fine. Apsirin or acetomeniphen works sometimes but not always. Also this seems to only happen around mid day. Obviously this is very confusing. Is it my lyme or a med. reaction. any insight would be apreciated.

Kramer - Could this be due to hormone imbalance? Have you had your hormone levels tested. Doc's do this for both mail/female - if is very helpful.

Could it be from a co-infection? What are your positives, virus', etc.?

I'm not sure what the cause is either but my husband has complained on occ., my son and I have it often.

Especially in the late afternoon and evenings. I used to check my sons and my temp., but we both usually registered low, (94 to 97). However there are times when I will run a low grade temp pretty often too, so.....

We all have Lyme, Babesia Wa-1 and RMSF.

My temp is ususally below normal, but sometimes in the late afternoon I run in the 99's.

My temp is usually in the low area also, 96's.
I have this same thing happen just about daily, and often more than once a day.
The feeling usually passes and it has gotten better since starting tx 7 months ago.

But..I'm a woman and had to have a total hysterectomy at the age of 29...almost two years ago. I DONT think it involves my hormones in that respect, as I am on hormone therapy and the dose I'm on should be sufficient.
