I know some recommend New Chapter. Has anyone used P73 oil of oregano drops?
Regular or super strength? I always prefer liquid over pills and I know someone on another lyme site mentioned this.
I placed an order with iherb this am, and am considering adding this- not sure if i should add regular or super strength though or if anyone had opinions as to why i shouldn't try it.
thanks

I use the P73 drops. It is easier to control the amounts.

Is this safe to take or not?? I really want to know.
Brussels recently posted that her LLMD in Europe says essential oils are NOT safe internally and will cause lung damage.
Is this true? Selma, what's the documentation for that? I need to read. My MD doesn't know about essential oils.
thanks, from pamois.

Some essential oils are NEVER okay to use internally, others are.
Here's another question: Is the oil of oregano an "essential" oil - - or is the the oil from the plant and not the strong "essential" essence? For some oils, there can be both types.
An "essential" oil is much stronger as it's the most condensed.
Essential oils are VERY strong and can burn the sensitive tissue in the mouth - the esophagus and the lining of the stomach.
It is far better to take in gel caps, especially at first (and take with food).
However, some people can put ONE drop in 1/2 cup of water and drink it down. A very dilute solution can be used as a mouth rinse. You would start very low - one drop.
The more dilute, the easier on tissue, though. And, if some other oils are included, this will help, as well. Some of the commercial products are a mix, but also advise plenty of water for consumption.
Never put essential oils under your tongue, even if cut with other oil. It will still burn. There is an art to using essentials oils and there is a bit of a learning curve but they can be very effective, especially for help with candida.
