My 7-year-old son just tested positive. They're saying false positive, so I'm looking for a LLMD that sees kids FAST!! AND...

about antibiotics, what is LONG enough, what kind and what dosage for a 7-yr-old boy that weighs 55lbs?

Any info will HELP. Thank you so very much!!!

I guess amoxy is what is usually recommended for kids, at first, not doxy if his teeth is still growing.

Mine took amoxy, she was 2 years old first time. The dosage was written in the bottle, I can't remember (based on weight). Easy to calculate.

I now prefer herbs though. Specially for kids.

Amoxy will get only borrelia, no coinfections , that is why I now prefer herbs.

And also because it's easier with kids due to diet (low carb, no sugar diet for kids is a bit difficult). But for the mom, it's more difficult (as herbs only work in combo).

Another thing that works well with kids is homeopathy. I would give borrelia nosode 200c as a supportive treatment. And also take a look into Deseret Biologicals nosodes for coinfections.

And certainly all herbs from Buhner protocol, astragalus (if newly infected), cats claw, andrographis (go slow) and Japanese knotweed. Plus cleansers like chlorella, bear garlic.

Dr. K. gives acute patients freeze garlic. His daughter took it, as well as mine. It is wide spectrum, so it gets quite a lot of critters at once. But the taste is strong, so I mixed it with honey.

My daughter has been constantly reinfected and that's how we shaped her treatment during the years.

No more amoxy for us, but that is only based on our experience.
