I am currently on abx, but not opposed to alternative treatment. Experimented with herb, homepathic suppliments, Immune Response Training, lightworks, Infrared sauna and now muscle testing.

Well my latest alternative treatment is out there. My muscle testing ( arm method which showed resistence) indicated that Lyme is not an issue and my main issues are parasites in the spleen, liver and kidney

There is part of me that wants to believe this.

What do you think about the reliability of this treatment. What is the best way to get rid of parisites

Others on this board such as GiGi will swear by it. I'm sure the skill lever of the practicioner is crucial. I would never put full faith in this technique. There's very little science behind it according to Quackwatch. They said results varied so much among practicioners. I feel life is too precious to take that chance.

IMO, it's very dangerous to make healthcare decisions based on something with so little scientific backing.

and even more dangerous to use QuackWatch as your source of information....

Yeah,I admit I agree. [Smile] It wouldn't matter where I read it though at this point. The concept is so hard to grasp and trust. Would you bet your life on it?

Muscle testing, just as most energetic testing, reveals only the present most dominant problem in the body. If you test positive for parasites today, the possibility exists that once you treat them, you will enter into deeper or other levels of the body and muscle testing will reveal more and/or different or more dominant problems the body is confronted with. Think of the layers of an onion. You start peeling away at it.

Maybe learn to handle and test with a Biotensor. Not having someone available all the time to do muscle testing is a drawback, because the body is changing frequently and the med that is acceptable today and the supplements you pile into your body today, may not be acceptable or needed tomorrow once the body's condition changes.
We probably miss the one that is the most important one at a certain time. It happens to us all the time. You take it when you need it as indicated with energetic testing, and you stop it when the body signals "no".

Do some searching here on Muscle testing; the most famous one is Marnie's on "Muscle Testing - a hoax or not"; and do some seraching on Biotensors here.

The only way you will learn and hopefully appreciate this great testing method is to start learning about physics and energy, frequencies, and resonance. This testing method has little to do with biochemistry.

Don't poopoo it - wait until you understand it and hopefully find someone who does it well. By far the best for me has been learning to use the Biotensor. Some of the best medical doctors have adopted energetic testing into their practice.

Take care.

Muscle testing is better that just taking it because someone said to.

The quality of the tester and the approach they take can definately make a difference

I was a physics major in college and other than using the same names ("frequency" etc.), none of the conclusions I've seen posted are supported by standard physics.

If it has guided some to a working treatment, great, but I'd like to see data showing it works better than randomly choosing a treatment.

Thanks for the information.

My main form of treatment is with LLMD which is predominantly abx.

I am trying to use alternative methods to judge progess as well as being supportive of my overall immune system or simply inflammation reduction.

We have to be open to alternative methods because doctor's are not always right. If they would have done their job I would not have the problems that I have today.

Thanks again, Any thoughts on parisite testing or treatments

I've been using muscle testing for several decades now. It is not 100% or foolproof but it is another very helpful tool.

I wouldn't rely on muscle testing 100% but at the same time, I have had remarkable results at times and have also been able to deal with many symptoms with judicious use of muscle testing.

I wouldn't rely on anything I read at quackwatch.

I wouldn't be without muscle testing in my arsenol of tools.

Like long term lyme treatment, you won't find proof that it works in the standard literature.

Science essentially measures one variable.

That is why muscle testing cannot be compared to the regular so called "scientific" testing.

It has more variables involved.

As a society we seem to be expected to bow down to so called science. And if it not able to be measured their way then it CANNOT be real and viable.

IMO the world is often more complicated than that.

For a biotensor, you only have to spend 70 dollars to make your own mind up on it. In other words self test. The 70 dollar tensor does work IMO, not as well as the one from Germany which is more sensitive. I suggest you try it, there won't be any valuable research on it. However, you could also call some of the practioners who use biotensors from GiGi list and ask for their appraisal of efficacy in diagnosis.

I'm still trying to determine how much better the one from Germany is in comparison. But each one of us is either open or not to it. It only works for those with an open mind, and can clear their thoughts when testing.

Every life form has its specific frequencies. Otherwise there would be no energetic medicine. If you would like, check out the inergetix site. It has a lot of information on the physics of energetic medicine.

It depends on the skill of the practioner, this is something that is said on an on.

If you don't want to trust anyone else, do like others here, buy a biotensor and do your own tests and practice.

You'll decide by your own if this thing is trustable or not.

Without energetic tests, I would still be sick with lyme and multiple coinfections, so would be my daughter as we've been infected and reinfected so many times.

I would trade every lab test in my stacks of binders for what I learned with ART if I could only have one or the other. It is simply that powerful in the right hands in my experience. So many things that were missed by conventional tests were only found with the muscle testing.

The results are certainly more accurate than a doctor just guessing at what medication may or may not be right for you.

It seems that those that put it down have not often experienced it or clearly as they relay their experience with it already had a closed mind to the potential it might bring.

I have to admit, I am intrigued. I may be skeptcal, but I sure don't have a padlock on my mind. [Smile]
