Yup I get what I say is a rumbling feeling in my hand and then the thumb and sometimes the pinkies twitch, its annoying but other symptoms are worse so I'll deal.

Yes! I have it most prevalant when about to fall asleep or waking up. Anyone else like that?
Have had it during the day too - just not as often. Its generally a couple fingers or the whole hand - not just thumbs or pinkies.
Have other movement problems - fasciculations, myoclonus, tremor, etc. I assume all goes hand in hand with neurological problems.

Thumb(s) yes. Sometimes for a week (maybe more?) straight, no let up. Very disturbing, as it's very noticable (at least to me). Makes me feel like I'm a freak. Other muscles twitch continuously, at times, but not as noticable as a finger, or thumb! You're not alone, I've had muscle twitching for 8 years now . . .

my right thumb and index finger just started twitching and moving on its own. I actually have a lot of shaking. People actually have come up to me and asked if i was ok. I am like yeah its just my body freaking out on me.

Add me to the list. For me, it's myoclonus, but I also have tremors. Started when Bart symptoms became apparent.
Thumbs, various fingers, wrist, hands, feet, abdomen, head, you name it - like living in a horror movie!!

Hey Shell, me. It was always just the left thumb, now it is the right thumb as well!
I know my sense of humor has become sick through all of this (what choice do you have but to learn to laugh??!!), but I do find the thumb twitching kind of humorous looking.
That, and all other twitching/jerks/tremors - are mostly memories for me now - except for the GOSH DARN EYE TWITCH that just drives me nuts & doesn't look so swell either!
