My Texas Lyme advocate told me even if my son gets treatment now (6 wks in) from an LLMD it can always show up in some even seemingly unrelated way throughout his life.
So, In your opinion...
Even if we do abx treatments and herbs this early, do you think there is no way to get it COMPLETELY out of his body? Will some Bb bacteria always remain NO MATTER what I do this early?
If so, how do you keep it from growing and spreading forever? Will he have to be on some kind of treatment for the rest of his life?
What if he eats really unhealthily and drinks a lot in his 20s (just an unhealthy lifestyle)? Could it become chronic then? Or is it already always chronic?

According to what I've read, it's chronic no matter how early it's caught. Many people who get treated early, however, create conditions such that their immune systems are able to keep it under control and prevent it from causing symptoms.

I believe it can be cured. I have seen ppl ill for many years with LD and are completely cured and symptom free for over 5 years now.

I think at this time, There is too much unknown about this disease to state that it cannot be cured or controlled with proper diagnosis and treatment. It is dangerous to make statements like that. Each person responds differently to this infection, there is no way to tell. I believe even the worst cases can be put into remission with long-term treatment, using many different methods and antibiotic combos.
