i took my first dose of flagyl yesterday, one 500 in the morning and one 500 in the evening, along with my biaxin.

i woke up at 3 this morning in horrible pain under my right rib. my heart was pounding and i was sweating like crazy. i felt jerky and weak but it was the (i assume) liver pain that hurt.

i finally got up and just walked the floor, and went back to bed at 6.

has anybody had liver pain with flagyl? does your liver herx? i am absolutely terrified of damaging my liver.

hI,
I am on flagyl 1500 mg a day.

Back in May I went on flagy for one week with IV roc..had to quit one week later because low WBC.

My sym were...right rib pain,upper back,knee,elbow,sweating and head pounding.

I hurt like h...

Now I am only on Flagyl and I hurt all over,migrating body pain.

Very short term memory and can't think right.

Luckily I wrote this all down in my calender.

With pain like that it might be a good idea to get your liver enzymes checked. Your gallbladder is under the right ribs also.

I have been told by a reliable sorce with hep C that the liver feels no pain, so it must be the gall bladder your feeling.
