I was just wondering if anyone has been to see Dr. S in Florida, and if so, what has their experience been? Has anybody gotten better from his methods? Does he really have any answers to Bartonella or BLO?
I've already had the free phone consult, and did a 15 min. consult as well which was pricey for such a short period of time.
I am in New England, and want to hear from others before making the trek to see him in person. I've already been to a clinic in the midwest which claims to specialize in chronic illness, and it wasn't helpful. Feel free to pm me with any sensitive information, or anything you don't feel comfortable writing publicly.

My personal opinion (note: I am not a scientist, researcher, etc) is that you should just stick to someone in the northeast.
From what I observe, getting better from these infections is a matter of the right doctor, but also just a lot of experimentation mixed with common sense and intuition.
I would just do a lot of reasearch on BLO/Bart, talk to a lot of people, and find someone closer to you to treat you.
If you have other infections too, such as lyme and babesia, treating becomes quite and art form, but I believe there are other physicians closer to you that are just as competent if not more competent.

I do not reccommend Dr. S due to my personal experience with him. That expensive 15 minute phone consult is only the tip of the iceberg...you will end up with an empty wallet and not much progress to show for it, as many of his other patients have.
I am sure he has helped others, for which I'm glad, but if you live in the North East, where we have several "Top" LLMDs, I would reccommend seeing one of them instead. If you would like a referral to a wonderful LLMD in the North East, please PM me.
