This is interesting to me. As some of you know, my 80%
"recovery" coincided with giving up all medications, pills,
supplements. It's been a year+ since taking this step and I
continue to improve. So I'm not looking back. (And spending
seriously less money!
)
That's what seems to work for me right now. I was as sick as
anyone here. (1995) I must say that my previous attempts at
stopping tx protocols always began a 3-6 month downward
spiral that ended in complete return of symptoms.
One positive (and $30/month saving) was finding that I could go
without the Renew Life Ultimate Flora probiotics that fixed my
mouth after dozens of others that helped minimally or not at all.
(Never tried Theralac.) I figured maybe I'd keep taking that one
pill (probiotic) because the broken mouth had become such a
part of life and didn't want to go back to that. (Psycological
dependency?) I was pretty sure the mouth symptoms would
return. Luckily, they haven't. How nice it is to have a healthy
mouth again!
Happy Holidays!!!
Update 02/11/09: I'm completely sure had I been on abx at the
time described above, no one could've convinced me they hadn't
"cured' me. If the results were the same. The might not have
been as good. Or might have been better. (Full recovery instead
of 80%?)
This thread was originally posted also somewhat as a test.
To check the level of open, diverse discussion on this board.
Unfortunately, I expected no replies and was so vindicated.
This reflects weakness. Every sort of strength may be necessary
to achieve recovery. What was one of the most thought-
provoking posts of recent memory - and should have been
widely discussed - slipped away with no response. Why throw
more obstacles on your road to wellness?
Not that this happened in this case but, I find unwise the
practice of not responding just to bury an unpopular yet
reasonable thread. Grow up! (To quote our new President.)
I guarantee your LLMDs were thinking strongly about this when
the news was fresh. I suggest you bring it up with them. Any
competent LLMD would, of course, be aware of this research.
Where would your thoughts go with the info. What would you do
in light of the abx protocols being followed and the possible
implications therein?
