thanks
Kris

Wow, you are lucky to live so close. I hope your appt goes well. He sounds EXACTLY like the type of LLMD I would like. His approach is perfect.

Seekhelp,
I am very lucky. There are a couple great LLMDs in this area. However, seeing two (one for me and one for my daughter) when we could potentially see one who takes insurance and is right here is overwhelming. Therefore, I think it's too good to be true [Smile] . Therefore, I am seeking opinions.
Thanks
Kris

Haven't seen him, but his blog impresses the heck out of me! He is dedicated to both his patient base and to LEARNING.

Plus!!!!!! he says he never quits trying to get his patients well. His approach resonates with me big time. I'm jealous.

I want to see him.

Good luck to you and your daughter, I think good things are on the way.

PS Skigal sees him, may want to PM her

I live very near to this LLMD as well and would be interested in more info about him - not for me, since I'm beyond happy with my LLMD, but for my hubby to see. He sees a lyme friendly doc who takes our insurance, but he's not quite what I'd call LLMD yet.

Hi Joysie,

My neighbor sees him and thinks he's great. (She got the recommendation through friends that see him and all have had positive experiences.)

I already have a great llmd too, or I would probably be calling him!

Good luck.

I have been under treatment with him for 21 months. It has been a up hill battle, but I am 95% in feeling myself again and back on track. His supporting staff are great.

At the time of my first appt. I knew nothing about this LYME epidemic, I did test postive with 10 bands and this helped start treatment. I thought I was aware of LYME, but this is a new LYME, not like years ago.

I have a great relationship with him and I consider his with me as being the same. At the present I am one thankful LYME epidemic patient and this is due to his treatment and deep concren about LYME.

I currently see LymeMD. I continue to see my previous LLMD in NoVa but was impressed by LymeMD's blog and wanted to check him out. I was not disappointed - he is my primary LLMD now. He is a caring, empathic and knowledgable doctor. He doesn't pretend to have all the answers but treats according to his convictions while at the same time being open to new theories (generally all allopathic though).

He does take some insurance. He works closley with Clongen laboratory and Dr. K there who does a lot of TBD work. They are trying to find answers which I respect. He is a clinician but interested in the science and biology behind lyme and its treatment.

I would recommend him. PM if any specific questions.
