a little better now, sensitivity to light and sound. (seems a little better)
Amoxicillin for about 3 weeks now while we wait
for LLMD. It just seems like her symptoms do not
cycle. Something is always there. It seems right
now she is really bad with major joint pain.
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this
could still be lyme even tho she has not been
symptom free at all since this started on Nov 17?

The think to keep in mind here is that with multiple infections, if you knock out one the others can rise to take its place. If you have multple infections, they all compete for resources and as a result soem may be suppressed until they see a window of opertunity brought on by drugs that only one of the infections is sensiive to.
With this in mind, the question is have you seen a shift in symptoms? If yes then I woudl guess that a shift in infection distributon has occured.
Lyme is the predictable cyclical element in all of this, the other typical co-infections do not cycle like this.
As far as the joint issues are concerned, MANY infections, viral or otherwise cause joint inflamation and pain so that symptom is non specific and could be any of a number of different infections that may have been acquired with the tick bite (or that may have been present before the bite).
One last note is that with lyme, depending on how long you have had it, taking ABX often make the symptoms more pronounced and seems to force the cycles to become more apparent. You mentioned that there are different symptoms at different times. It is possble that you are observing cycles but they appear in the form of a cascade. Ie one symptom moves the another and then another, only to start repeating in 2 or 4 weeks. (lyme can also flare up every 2 weeks as opposed to 4).
Carefully watch the symptoms to see if this is the case. (ie starts with stomach, then joints then headache etc... then repeats)

My symptoms do not wax or wane. I have had a headache everyday for one year, sometimes they develope into migraines around my cycle. I have head pressure 27/7 for one year as well. Everyday.
I have not really addressed co-infections, just Lyme.
So to answer your question. Yes, I feel sick all of the time every day. There is a cyclical worsening around my monthly cycle. I rarely feel "better" maybe 10 semi-ok days in a year.
I really think it is as David states, co-infections are a huge part of it....that and how long the infection has incubated in the body.
In my case 18 years w/o treatment. They are entrenched.
I hope that your daughters infection was caught early. I also think that once you see a LLMD and begin a treatment protocol things will impr4ove.

i went 35 yrs. with MISDIAGNOSES galore.
had 20 months of pulsed antibiotics: 3 days of biaxin, 2 days off, then 3 days of doxy, 2 days off, then biaxin again
i herxed the ENTIRE time and in many different areas, but my right arm daily was like i'd been used as a punching bag.
i used my frozen ice packs and moist heating pad all day long except when sleeping.

Hi,
I agree with what others have said...I have never seen a real cycle of my symptoms. I do have random waxing/waning, but it's ALWAYS something and am NEVER symptom free (I wish). My waxing and waning can be literally hourly.
I have tested + for ALL co-infections so suppose this helps to explain things for me. My LLMD also said I wouldn't really see any regular cycles due to having multiple infections (ugh).
Anyway...that's been my experience. Good luck and hope she starts seeing improvement. I get so tired of hearing the word, "patience," but have to throw it out there when dealing with treating LD. For me it's been and still is a very long road; I sure wish it was faster and sure hope treatment works, for all of us. Happy and Healthier New Year! TS

I saw a cycle maybe 10+ years prior to diagnosis.
However, once I became very ill, there was no cycle.
Once on antibiotics (after herxing the first 5 weeks straight!)
A cycle of sorts emerged.
Approximately 30 days.
That was the Lyme.
Then I began to go after co-infections.
Every once in a while I still have a worsening of symptoms,
But really not enough to determine if it is a true 30 day cycle.
I must admit that I don't track with a calender anymore though.

I am suprised Lab Corp found anything.
My LLMD will make a diagnosis on symptoms.

I can't really say I have a cycle of symptoms either. It seems i always have symptoms, although yes, different symptoms are more apparent at different times.
I haven't been diligent in tracking symptoms as i know I should. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, so my days are quite busy just keeping track of them.
I also can't say that I notice things around my monthly cycle, although that's been a bit screwy since my youngest was born. I'm seeing my ob/gyn this month for hormone testing.
