one woman in our Lyme group is drinking ozonated water. No big changes for her after months of doing so.

Theoretically, I understand, the ozonated oil (rizoles) keep the ozone active far longer. Biopureus.com sells them -- Dr. K often includes them in his protocols. The hubby is using 2 different rizoles -- he's been on them for a couple of weeks and doesn't see any effect, but he'll try them for the entire month. Very 'spensive.

Other folks I've talked to seem to think the rizoles are effective, but I can't point you to any double-blind trials or solidly scientific in vitro or in vivo trials.

Best of luck.

maybe better results would be if water was distilled and ice cold ?

When my kids are visiting the holistic dentist for braces every 2 months or so, I go in for the ear and nose insufflation. I enjoy it and it's only $19 for 1/2 hour.

I believe that getting oxygen into your body in any manner will benefit.

With that said, I do not herx from doing it. I have already been feeling pretty well and I don't notice that it's really helping.

I think if I did it more than 6-7 times a year, it would be of more help.

I DO notice a gentile herx with an oxy bath. I worked up to 1 cup of food grade 37% peroxide, and 1-2 cups of epsom salt and some sea salt.

"any info. on ozone ear insuffulation?"

I tried if a few times (twice 2 years ago and once this year).

All times it stirred up bad candida problems in my ears and dried my ears out so much they were itchy for 3 months afterwards.

If you don't have ear problems, give a try. I found it really damaging and frustrating though.

I felt really high and checked out the last time I tried it (it was as freebie at a dental offic) and then the place wanted to charge me $100 a session, but if I paid for 6 sessions, they would ONLY charge me $400.

I'm glad I got out of there without paying a crazy price for it.

Only try it if it's cheap.

I was just reading about this. I have had major hearing loss in one ear and all kinds of auditory symptoms in that ear due to inflammation. I had hoped that ozone treatment might help, but now I am reluctant. I would be curious to hear from others who might have tried this.
