Did this help you? How long did you have to take it and when did it start to work?
Did it help your symptoms? Which ones?
How did you decide to take it?
Does it interact with anything?
Were there any side effects? How safe do you think it is?
I'm just very curious about it. I have heard that some LLMD's treat parasites before going after lyme.
Thanks for your input!

Took it for 30 days. Did nothing at all. Posted by sixgoofykids (Member # 11141) on :
I took it for 30 days because I had bacterial overgrowth in the intestines and it was supposed to work on the bacteria I had. I passes a 7 ft. long tapeworm.
I started bart treatment about the same time.
After the 30 days my GI symptoms were significantly improved.
When I took enula, I continued to pass roundworms.
I did not know I had worms when I started taking the Humaworm.
Keep in mind most parasites are not visible to the naked eye, so you might not see the dramatic stuff I did.
My nail biting son also said he saw stuff .... but I didn't look, it was traumatic enough seeing my own parasites.

Thanks for the info six,
I can imagine how traumatic it would be to see that! Not to be too graphic, but how did you know it was a tapeworm? I am considering doing the humaworm since I became lactose intolerant after going to Costa Rica 20 years ago. I have had IBS ever since. I know it could be lyme or bart, but want to rule out the other too.
What color was the worm? How big was the diameter? Did you pass it all at once or a little each day? Was it dead? Is it larger than the roundworms? What color are they? And how long? ARe they dead when they come out?
I am trying to figure out what to look for!
By the way, I tried Enula for a week and had such loose stools that I couldn't tolerate it. I have heard from others that it causes that sometimes.
Thanks, tickbattler

Warning, TMI alert.
I saw a whitish/light brown, half inch wide, flat, six inch long thing floating. Upon further inspection, I saw more of it that had not separated from the rest of the BM and estimated that together it would have been about 4 ft.
Over the next few days I estimate I saw 3 more ft. As the days went on it was more digested. I did not dig for it, so there may have been more I did not see.
The roundworms were more digested. About 8 in. long. I passed about 20 of them over a period of a couple months.
After passing the tapeworm, my appetite decreased and my weight increased (it needed to).
All my IBS type symptoms and gluten sensitivity went away. I had gotten down to just a few foods I could tolerate without intense stomach pain.

Goofy have you travelled or eaten raw? Just curious how you got it. YUCKO! Glad its out.

O2Babe, it was most likely a beef tapeworm judging by reading about the various tapeworms. I never ate at a questionable restaurant. I do like my steaks medium rare.
On Under Our Skin Dr. K mentions when he's examining the woman who works for U2 that she has parasites. That everyone is exposed to them but when the immune system is lowered by Lyme, it doesn't fight them off.
I order my steaks medium now.

I've done Humaworm four times now and also did Enula with the full Cowden protocol for five months during spring/summer.
I definately passed stuff but apparantly I still have some parasites.
Sometimes it can take quite a while to get rid of the nasty things.

I took it for a few weeks and did have a herx on it.
I believe it hit my babs as well as stomach parasites.
