I've been on Heparin 1:10,000 several times in the past.

My dr. just ordered it again, but my pharmacist says this strength has been discontinued.

He is saying I must be on 5,000 units and double it.

Has anyone heard about this?

Not sure, but I believe recently in the news there was a story on heparin and it coming out of China with problems. Imagine that?

Seems to me shipments to US were banned due to test results that were questionable.
