[hi] Again,

I was wondering with those that had and have a elevated sed rate. Was it lyme or a co-infection.

Much Love, Roz

Hi Roz,

Unfortunitly an elevated sed rate only shows there is inflammation/infection somewhere in the body. It doesn't indicate to any paticular one.

The test is actually frusterating because it can be very high showing inf., but if all other testing is neg.; the Dr. will usually tell you, "Everything's fine, nothing to worry about."

So basically, it's one of those tests that is only useful in few situations.....sorry

SED rate has varied but it is always on the high end of normal and sometimes above normal. C reactive protien 3X's normal.

Even when I feel very inflamed, my SED rate will often be in the normal range.

I have no idea which infection is causing it but I know that borrelia die off is a big factor for me. I've been told that die off causes inflammation.

my c reactive protein is always normal-thank god, considering my constant chest pains

High C Reactive Protein indicates heart issues? My C reactive protein has been sky high and I have chest pains, palpitations, etc....
