scary symptom.. i had been sitting down.. then i got up to go to the bathroom.. and when i went to wipe my vagina, one side of it was all tingly almost like it was going numb... it went away after a minute... i know part of the disease can be numbness / tingling... down there too??

Yes, anywhere and everywhere is possible.

Like spasms or tremors in the GI or any other part of the body, I have had them "down there".

I went through a period of time where I would have one spasm and/or pain in one location (say, arm, chest et al)

that would be echoed or "answered" by the same sensation in a completely different location
(I called it "marco polo effect").

A few times this happened in "that" area.

I had tingling & numbness too that went away.
You are not alone!

I haven't had numbness or tingling "down there," but I have had painful muscle spasms there and also in my rectum.

I have had that same symptom too, several times.

I have had that too.

I always attributed it to a nerve block I had down there years ago after laser surgery fried my insides, yielding alot of pain.

I can't say what it is due too for sure but the body does funny things. It could be related to your lower back. I think I have a pinched nerve near my right dimple above the buttocks. It could cause that sleepy tingly thing in the vagina the way the nerves infiltrate

Whatever it is, I don't think it'll kill us. [shake]

I would not be affraid. I ignore it when it comes and goes. [Roll Eyes]

Best to you,

2roads

ps-mine too is on one side....the same side as nerve block and the pinched nerve in my back. I feel it is one or the other in my case.

Maybe you have some situation similiar.
