Hi,

I only have 3/4 of my lung capacity. This I have been told by several doctors. I get short of breath sometimes. I actually did a lot for a bout 6 months or so, but that has gotten better on its own.

Mainly I still have lots of trouble clearing my throat, itchy chin undr the skin, and this weird thing in my throat. It's like its closing or has super glue down it. Sometimes I can't clear it at all. And if I drink something sometimes I can't feel it go down part of my throat. REALLY WEIRD.

Anyhow, I go back to the chest specialist Tuesday, and I reaaly want to be tested for babesia. I asked him about it last time but he shrugged it off and told me it was more rare than lyme.

So, I am just curious as to how accurate testing is.

This may not be babesia, I just don't feel like its asthma.

Ho originally thought I had emphysema from looking at my x-rays, but after cat scan hesaid I didn't.

This crap hits me at different times. I just can't figure it out. Maybe it is an allergy. I just don't know. But for me it is the worst.

By the way, I have also been getting really dizzy lately. And when I eat my ears ger full of pressure like I am in the mountains. What is that about?

Sometimes I get really dizzy after eating too.

I have never been on treatment for Lyme. But my symptoms have come and gone since 93. Now I am about to go crazy.

Thanks for any help.

Had many of the same issues...I was clinically Dxed with Babesia. I have zero evidence via FISH test or standard lab antibody tests.

your symptoms of losing lung capacity remind me of another spirochete ... SARCOIDOSIS.
*************************************

have you been tested for that?

a former co-worker of mine ended up with that; she's lost majority of lung function and goes to mayo clinic, minn. every 2-3 months.

best wishes! [group hug] [kiss]

I have just developed your swallowing/throat problems. You describe it to a T. Does it feel like sometimes your throat just does not work?

I mean like when you go to swallow it just does not do anything? Do you have trouble eating? Does your throat go out of whack when you blow your nose?

Oh, the ear presure and eating, that too. It is all connected ears and swallowing. I am going to the doctor today.

If I find any answers, I will report back. What do they tell you to do for it?
