Sounds like cranial nerve issues.

Are you on any new meds? Is your tongue really swollen or does it just feel that way?

My toungue is not swollen. but i can feel and see the twiching ( faciculations) on my toungue. Yes i am on new, but not big doseses medicine. I am going to going to germany this week to my lyme doctor, and he want a new treatment for me.
Will it go away? I have a lot of als symptoms.

Fasciculations can be caused by Lyme disease.
I am a Speech Therapist and am just now able on most days
To find the words I want to use and pronounce them
Without messing up over and over again.
It does get better with treatment.
Hugs,
Geneal

I get the tongue twitches (I get twitches ALL over, for the majority of the day). Also, numb lips and difficulty speaking.
