I've heard that LD and fillings don't work well together.

Is dark areas on the gum common for lyme victoms?

I have this also around my crowns. I'm sure someone here from the denistry world will explain.

I think this is called an "Amalgam Tattoo" (you can google it). Biological dentists remove it when taking the amalgams out - but don't ask me how.

it is an amalgam tattoo
it is from a stoppy dentist that dropped a piece of amalgam in the gum when initially placed.
it migrates from the gum line to any place on the gum.

Thanks stymie for the info. Doesn't surprise me none about the dentist I had for 30 yrs.

Some of his work that's been revealed hidden under my old crowns in the last year. Bad, bad, bad.
