My husband has. He had very painful issues with his feet. I showed him a utube video that was titled, "Lyme in Europe". I showed him their feet and he was surprised.

With all of the symptoms we grouped with Lyme, his yucky feet were not one of them until we watched that video.

Yes, and not just under my heels. Just seem to have no padding left on bottom of my feet, which means I don't walk barefooted. Always use padded slippers, shoes.

Shalome,

I did see that video, my feet don't look like that. I have lost the padding underneath and also have very painful feet.

hmmm, my uncle has this.. he's so been diagnosed with alzheimer's. my mom had lyme i'm sure so i bet he does too.

he's about 80 or so...he can barely walk. doctors don't know what's causing this but apparently the fat is just dissolving.

Randibear,

They do say we loose about 50% of are fat pads
under are feet by the time we get older. Alot of older people have problems with there feet, but I am only 39.

Crystal,

My husband is only 33....he said it was like he literally walked the bottoms off of his feet. He would take his socks off and they would stick to his feet and they would be bloody...yuck.

I think he permanantly damaged them. They look like a really really old persons foot. And, they hurt him really badly, and he said they are itchy, but burn too..

I think this is a symptom of bartonella...

shalome,

it sounds like a fungis, has the dr given him anything?

No. My husband never went to the doctor before he met me. When I tested positive for Lyme, I immediately made him and my daughter get tested.

Since he was CDC positive, he is going to the doctor with me in March to start treatment.

Crystal, I do beleive he has fungus overgrowths, because he always gets sinus infections too! When I was treated for candida, I stopped getting sinus infections, so I will remember to mention that to the doctor in March!! Maybe treating the fungus will help both issues!

Thanks,
Shalome
