tree, thanks for that; i just emailed billy's wife with lyme blood testing info.

it's also SAME program that iowa's alex hermstad, 15, is signed up for ... she's been paralyzed and ventilator for last year plus.

she does have babs/bart.

Betty, be sure to let the lady know that the test for Lyme is likely to come back negative due to the use of immunosuppressants.

He probably does have babs and/or bart.

TuTu,

Great point.

And if they did the ole CSF (lumbar puncture), it won't be so accurate, either.

Glad you e-mailed his wife Betty!

I hope she takes it seriously and looks into it and doesn't believe the doctors when they most likely tell her that he's negative and that they tested him and that that CAN'T be it and to 'not talk about lyme again!'. [Frown]

Scary! Billy's initial symptoms were the exact same as mine - fever, hives, swollen joints. Glad I'm being treated. I feel so sorry for these people...hope they get the help they need.

Scary!

I hope his wife pursues a possible diagnosis for Lyme disease.

Hmmmmm. Adult onset of auto immune issues?

Sounds vaguely familiar to me.

Hugs,

Geneal
