hey guys

i just got my CD57 test results back from my family doctor over the phone (i don't go back to see my LLMD for a month) but i don't understand what it means

I'm from canada so the results are from Gamma Dynacare lab.

Over the phone - and i called twice b/c i didnt think they were correct - the results were

0.04 and the normal range she said was 0.036 - 0.212 ??????

to me these results dont make sense b/c everyone else's results are always a whole number like 24 or 103 vs. a small decimal like i got.

anyone have any idea or should i call the lab to see what they say??

thanks

Compared relatively to the Labcorp results, your number is around 65. It is vague circumstantial evidence that "potentially" supports a diagnosis of Chronic Lyme Disease, just like the Labcorb CD57. However, the tests that were studied originally were for Labcorp (well technically the prior company that Labcorp bougth out), so your result could mean anything, so it's even more remote in context to your diagnosis.

It's still worth showing to your physician who is treating your Lyme Disease or associated infection.

To get the contrast the reference range for Labcorp is 60 to 360.

60-360 Labcorp
0.036 - 0.212 Gamma Dynacare lab.

360 = 0.212
60 = 0.036

Your result: 0.04

Estimated: 65-70 on Labcorp

Different laboratories use difference reference ranges. All you have to do is convert mathematically compared to Labcorp's reference range.
