Aside from heat, magnesium, muscle relaxers....did treating for anything in particular help this?

The muscles cramp up so tightly along my upper back that I can't fully expand my ribcage...Fun times....

Try physical therapy, It has helped a lot with that pain.

Stretching with supervision may help.

Maybe a chiropractor...

I get this too.

A light massage helps me a lot.

That is when I can afford to get one.

Hugs,

Geneal

Thanks for the suggestions....very helpful....It's taking me sooooooo long to restore my mag levels that I think I'll go nuts from this muscle cramping first...ugh....

Anyway, when you go for physical therapy, do you get your LLMD to write a script for it? If so, what is the diagnosis? Are you able to get your PT covered by insurance?

Thanks so much

I'm seeing a chiropractor for my back/neck problems.

It has helped in some ways, but not for everything.

My insurance doesn't cover it.

A doctor has to write a Rx for physical therapy.

It can say "Physical therapy to eval and treat

For muscle tightness/weakness in neck area".

Or any other things you want addressed.

Are you taking an epsom salt bath?

This really seems to help with my muscle issues on top

Of taking tons of magnesium.

Hugs,

Geneal

try an AK chiropractor that knows how to do a diaphragmatic release

Excellent suggestion for the diaphragmatic release. If that muscle is too tight it is difficult to breathe.

Also if ribs get "stuck" it can be difficult to take a full breath. Finding a chiropractor who knows how to adjust ribs may also be very helpful.
