Hello Friends,

I was wondering if any of you have taken Azithromax while on rifampin for Bartonella.

I'm on Rifampin/Doxyxycline and I am curious if the Azithromax would be more effective in destroying my Lyme co-infection.

You can combine them. As to whether they are better or not, I don't know. I was on zith, rifampin, and doxy for 4 1/2 months. Doctor just changed me to mybcobutin (like rifampin), zith, and omnicef. Started this today. He says he wants to hit Bartonella hard. I am not sure how it all works. I am taking it on faith.
