I don't think this is normal. I found dried blood on both of my nipples and I'm getting shooting pains down the center of them. Anyone hear of this? I'm really concerned.
I'm currently on Mepron, Biaxin, and Bicillin shots.

are you breast feeding? gonna guess probably not are resond accordingly
wow..would put in call to doc today. would not think this is normal
you can have abnormal lactation with lyme but bleeding should warrent call to md
infection in milk ducts/breast can cause these types of symptoms BUT, there are other more serious conditions as well.
would advise to call LLMD

butterfli,
GO TO ER NOW; have them give you a mammogram and i'd even recommend where they extra fluid from that area !!!
sorry, but my late sister, marilyn; that was 1 of her symptoms when she discovered at age 32 she had breast cancer .. in fact 2 different types found during the biopsy!
so i apologize for alarming you, but this is serious stuff and not to be messed around with!
DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU OFF; DEMAND THIS!
marilyn 1st found a lump and they poo-pooed her saying she had recently had a hysterectomy and that was the body's reaction to the recent surgery. so they wouldn't see her.
then a little while later, her nipples started bleeding like yours. this time they had her COME IN IMMEDIATELY!
she did the biopsy 2 wks. before xmas but treatments didn't start until after xmas since he 2 kids were 6 and 2 at the time.
so she had her breast removed; had chemo and radiation; cancer free for 6.5 yrs. when cancer reared its ugly head and now in liver.
we had her for 2 yrs., 1 month, and 3 days her 2nd bout. she died at age 41; kids were then 14 and 11.
so get your butt into the hospital or drs. office tomorrow! NO EXCUSES FROM ANYONE OK!
the sooner you can treat this, the better your chances of being cured or in remission; just like lyme disease ok!
sending you all my love, compassion, and good wishes that this is NOT cancer too! xoxox

I had this -- bleeding from my right nipple. They took it very seriously and hurried me into surgery after seeing a lump on the mammogram. It's true -- it can be cancer, generally within the milk duct. Mine turned out to be a benign intraductal palpiloma, sort of like a cyst inside the milk duct -- they removed the entire ductal system from that breast to biopsy. This was about thirteen or fourteen years ago. Hopefully yours will be a benign situation too but please get to the doctor.
