Recommended by whom, and based on what? I take Norvasc (amlodipine) for HBP, and one of the listed side-effects is possible dizziness. I haven't experienced the dizziness, but my balance isn't as good as I'd like.

Recommended from a doctor at Yale for Migrane Associated Vertigo.
Basically I have vertigo that doesnt go away along with Mutiple Chemical Sensitivities.
The theory is that its originating in the brain because they cant find anything wrong in my ears.

Hi, I take a calcium channel blocker for high blood pressure (DILT cd) but also have vertigo. It could be that if I didn't take it, the vertigo would be worse...or..maybe not. I just don't know. It's worth a try, I guess.

What is the principal behind the calcium channel blockers? Does anyone have a link to more information?
I have chronic vertigo but have consistently low blood pressure. Would this make a difference in the way that it is treated?
Thanks!
