Hi Shelly, Not sure what you can do to help (except let time pass). I started juicing cranberries in Nov and I would have pain in my bladder area for like a day, then it would pass.
For about 2 months though I stopped waking up at night to pee and stopped having to pee multiple times in a row. Problem is, can't find fresh cranberries anywhere now =(
Sorry you are having this symptom, I am positive that you are killing stuff though. Make sure you drink plenty of water and if your meds allow, try some store bought cranberry juice (make sure it's 100% juice, not a 'cocktail' those always have a TON of sugar!!).
Take care, Ocean

Yes, I had this problem for a very long time and it seemed to get better with my treatment of Bartonella actually. Levaquin was the best. When an episode hit that caused sweating and intense pain I would use the prescription strength form of AZO to manage the pain.
The most soothing thing for me in less severe times was D-Mannose. It seemed to stay off episodes too. I found the Progressive Labs brand to be the most helpful as it was the only one I could find that came in a white powder form to dissolve in water to drink. No flavor at all, just a tinge of sweetness.
FYI - D-Mannose is the form of glucose found in cranberries, blueberries, etc. From what I understand taking D-Mannose provides 10x the power of cleansing and infection fighting as taking cranberry alone.
Hope this helps and you find relief soon!

Very interestin! I have to wake up in the middle of the night to pee and always have to pee twice as I feel like the Bladder didn't completely empty!
Great info. I'm going to buy cranberries tonight if I can find them to juice!

If the cranberry makes you worse, you may have Interstitial Cystitis.
Go here for more information. Many with Lyme ( like me ) have IC caused by the Lyme.
There are certain foods you will need to avoid if you actually have IC.
