DR wants to start on IV with vancomyacin (or something like that) Anyone tried this, and how is it compared to rocephrin.

I did it for a couple of months. Dropped WBC to dangerous levels so monitor regularly. At least every week maybe more at the beginning.

maybe Byron will chime in...he's been on it for awhile I think? Although don't see him much around here anymore.
