Would this be a bad idea? Is anyone alone and on IV?
Do you need someone to help or can you do it yourself?
Is it dangerous to be alone in the event that something goes wrong, or is it pretty safe?
I'm very self-sufficient, but don't want to be stupid.
Thanks!

Those are good questions. I am currently on a PICC line, and cannot reach the end to screw my injection on myself. They do have extentions, though, but you will need it to go past your hand as you need two hands to do it.
If you are going to have an at home nurse come out once a week you may be able to do it yourself, as long as someone is there with you the first time or two incase you have a reaction.
How about neighbors close by incase you had to have help?

I did it the second time on my own. In my opinion, once you get the drill down, it is not dangerous at all. You need to have someone train you and available for questions.
