I just started treatment for Bartonella a couple of weeks ago, and where I have had some relatively good days, I notice that I am in a complete fog much of the time. Well, actually, all of the time.
Could this be Bartonella related? Thanks.

If you're using Levaquin or another fluoroquinolone, it could be a sever ADR, in which case you should get off now.

What is ADR?

I am on Rifampin. He avoided fluoroquinolones because I was on Cipro forever and ever. Thanks for your concern, adamm. I looked up ADR and can't find what it is.
Hezzer, so you are having a similar situation?
Thanks everyone.

One of my main problems has been fogginess before and during treatment. My LLMD thinks my main problem is bartonella and I have been treating that now, and contintue to do so.
Yes, it could be treatment for bartonella.

ADR = Adverse Drug Reaction
Good thread, sorry you're feeling so foggy.

Yes, Iam having a similar situation.. I have awful brain fog.. it is extremely annoying especially since getting more energy because I want to do things but the fogginess makes me stressed out... I am going to try and detox as I feel it may be toxins in my brain.. I'm going to try a sauna and I've been drinking lemon water

Great suggestions, hezzer, and thanks btmb. That makes sense! Venus, I think my LLMD feels this way too. My Lyme treatment helped with many things, but certain cognitive issues just would not budge.
The fogginess is new, though. I have had it in the past, but only a day here, day there. So it must be a herx of some kind.
