What labs do Western Blot? Can't afford Igenix. Are there any other laboratories that are covered by insurance?

Varies by insurer of course, but some insurances cover MDL, LabCorp, Quest, etc. I'd go to MDL first if I had a choice, then Quest, then LabCorp. There may be others too. I'm not sure if you're in Kaiser or an HMO environment. If so, whole different ballgame unfortunately. Posted by sutherngrl (Member # 16270) on :
My LLMD uses Labcorp. My insurance paid for all my bloodwork.

My insurance (BC/BS) reimbursed me for a lot of the Igenex bill -- had to pay up front but they sent me a check.

Labcorp/Quest and places for all routine bloodwork (CBC, thyroid, CD57 etc..) are typically covered up front.
IgeneX, Fry, and other specialty labs you may have to pay up front, but if they're legit labs usually insurance will reimburse you or put it towards your deductible.
