Its well known that cedar cannot grow fungals nor bacteria due to compounds man does not fully understand. This is why cedar fencing does not need to be painted.
Its further noticed that a research study discovered that cedar cutting boards would not allow bacteria to grow as compared to plastic boards.
Knowing this I purchased some cedar pressed oil and applied a tiny pin drip to my blood smear in live blood micro and it appeared to kill all moving invaders and even seemed to help de-cougulate my blood. Just a quick check...to soon to claim victory...but I will test it further. This product is not to be used internally...but it maybe safe that way, I just cant be sure.
I am not suggesting anyone try it, and I do thoughrow reasearch before doing anything outside the box.

James, how many times do you check your blood on any given day?

Of course cedar can grow fungi and bacteria. and quickly, too. It's
just more resistant than other woods. I guarantee this. A few years
ago, I installed a "cedar chip deck" 8" deep and 6-10 ' wide around
my house against ticks. It worked somewhat. It is said ticks don't
like to go on the white chips because they lose camouflage.
It wasn't very long before slight investigation underneath the
surface revealed an amazing variety of molds, fungi, etc.
The compounds in cedar can kill poultry, so we don't use it as
bedding in the business. Perhaps this bodes well for killing
"bugs," less so for your health? We would love to use cedar. It
would make our job a lot easier.
