With oregano oil, be sure the product is intended for internal use. It can burn if not in the right formula or a gelcap.

Some have found good benefit from Salt/C. However, it's important to be checked by your doctor first to be sure you do not have: high blood pressure; diabetes; any variations of cardiac rhythm; or and kidney problems.

There's more here to study before starting added salt to be sure this would be a good fit:

In vitro antifilarial effects of three plant species against adult worms of subperiodic Brugia malayi.

Zaridah MZ, Idid SZ, Omar AW, Khozirah S.

Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong, 52109, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Five aqueous extracts from three plant species, i.e., dried husks

(HX), dried seeds (SX) and dried leaves (LX) of Xylocarpus granatum (Meliaceae),

dried stems (ST) of Tinospora crispa (Menispermaceae)

and dried leaves (LA) of Andrographis paniculata (Acanthaceae)

were tested in vitro against adult worms of subperiodic Brugia malayi.

The relative movability (RM) value of the adult worms over the 24-h observation period was used as a measure of the antifilarial activity of the aqueous extracts.

SX extract of X. granatum demonstrated the strongest activity, followed by the LA extract of A. (Andrographis) paniculata, ST extract of T. crispa, HX extract and LX extract of X. granatum.

Andrographis has some explanation in Singleton's "The Lyme Disease Solution" and is discussed in great detail in Buhner's "Healing Lyme."

As with anything, it's good to read a lot about it first. Andrographis, while having some wonderful properties, can increase fatigue. Planning helps.

Any parasite/worm cleanse has to be done repeatedly over a period of time to make sure they are gone including salt/c.

The eggs have to be removed as well. I have been doing the salt/c for 2 1/2 yrs.Have made great progress and will never stop the protocol.

Curezone has a lot of good suggestions. It is an excellent forum for parasites.

GiGi mentioned Alinia also

Oh, yeah . . . that one is very hard for people with pets . . . cat's, too - and - especially armadillos!

My father taught me to always wash any fruit before eating or cutting into it - even watermelons - all melons. I have seen some clerks in the grocery store cutting straight into fruit for samples.

My dad would never let us buy half a melon as he said he wanted to see it take a bath first.

Now, I put a drop of iodine in my last rinse water for any produce.

Keebler,

What does the iodine do? Does it kill parasites? I wash everything before cutting it. I am so shy about eating vegetables and fruits now and I love them.

If I do eat them I spray them with diluted clorox and wash thoroughly. Don't know how safe that is, but I don't want to take the chance of re-infection.

Gael,

You asked: "What does the iodine do? Does it kill parasites?"

Yes, it will kill various pathogens on the outside of fruit - and taken as a medicine, it can kill some parasites, too. Of course, too high a dose can be too stimulating and send the thyroid out dancin' !

A friend of mine who had lived in India and China for some years taught be about the iodine rinse. Be sure not to use too much or breath it as it can be awfully strong. Air circulation is good. ONE drop of clear iodine in 1/2 gallon of water is what she used.

She would also brush the produce or - with greeen - be sure to run her hands all along the surface when in the iodine bath.

Years ago, a doctor thought I had some sort of stomach parasite. He ordered iodine capsules for about two weeks and I felt much better. The stuff he suspected I had started with an "h" -

Of course, now I know that he probably stopped short but still, he was far ahead of most doctors - and Americans - who have totally ignored parasites that are just part of life - a part that needs to be addressed.

In the 70s back in Russia, they always warned us about Warms and Parasites in our tummies due to not washing hands and such...

How odd is it that more than 30 years later the same things are now being said here in USA.

Massman,

What kind of success have you had with these products? How long did you take them? They look very good.

Thanks for posting,

Gael
