Interested to find out if sleep goes back to normal for anyone?

Yep. I sleep like a log now--just like before lyme.

Lyme teaches you to appreciate being able to sleep! I used to just take that (and many other things) for granted.

My lyme doc said lyme affects the sleep center in the brain, and that is why I could not sleep for years when I had lyme and company.

No 8 months into abx treatment - still have it. Still take ambien to sleep. Hope natural sleep will return one day - like others here.

It's interesting (and encouraging) that it can be relieved for some.

For those of you who are still suffering with insomnia, I hope it clears up as your treatment continues.

Do any of you know what the cause of it is? Meaning is it typically from Lyme infection or is it from one of the co-infections?

I've been trying to figure out what each of the symptoms suggest.

insomnia was a problem until coinfections of mycoplasma and bartonella were tx

Nope.....I've had insomnia for so long, I was thinking it is a way of life and normal for me.

It is good to hear that if I can get the "right drug for the right bug" that I might actually be able to get this back under control.
