I am REALLY nervous because I was treated with
IV steroids in December for a lesion on my
spinal cord that looks like MS. I have not had
any Lyme tests done and I am now learning that
steroids could be a VERY bad thing if I do in
fact have Lyme Disease! I was bitten by a tick
last July and did not have any symptoms until
November when I got strep throat. Three days
later, numb right arm. My arm has gotten a
little better and haven't had anything new going
on since...other than a perforated eardrum with
a cold and eye floaters that my eye doctor said
was normal. Oh yea, and I have constant muscle
twitches which my MS doc said was normal due to
the lesion on my spinal cord. I know this is
alot of information but if any has any
thoughts/info I would love to hear. I do plan
to go to a LLMD as soon as possible! Thanks!

Anti-oxidants can help decrease the debris material of which the eye floaters is comprised. Dark berries are excellent help, too.
Magnesium can help reduce the muscles twitches. Fish oil is vital, too.

Don't worry too much. You can only do what you can only do. What "is" - well, is. You won't know more until you get a full assessment.
Did the steroids help reduce the lesion? You did not say.
You say you plan to go to a LLMD ASAP but you don't say that you have yet scheduled an appointment.
So, are you waiting to find one? Or do you have one in mind? Do you need help finding a doctor ?

Yes I am going to be going to see a llmd as soon as I can get an appt scheduled. I have a couple
in mind.
The lesion one month after steroids was the same
size. My arm is not as numb as it once but that seems sto be the only change since steroids.
I try not to worry but unfortunately, it is my nature!!

As soon as you can, please be sure to make that call. Action trumps worry.
