For the last few years I have needed fans almost round the clock to cool off. Some days are better than others. I'm wondering if its hormonal or the autonomic nervesytem which controls my body thermo system, pulse, blood pressure etc.

I was doing a search on menopause threads (I'm at that age) and came across this thread. Menopause sx just started about 6 mths ago, but head sweating has been with me since becoming ill.
I've always wondered why I had these strange heads sweats? Anyone have anything to add?
Last week my hair stylist asked me why my head was so hot? Could it be bart?

I used to get hot on my neck, and then I'd get like a heat rash/blotches on my neck and chest.
Haven't seen it lately, and never did figure out what causes that.

Obviously I'm not a doctor but I too thought it had to be menopause, but my LLMD says this is definitely a symptom for Babesisosis.
I do know that when I'm on treatment for it (4th time now at 7 months each), it does seem to flair off and on but then after a few months, it does seem to go away.
So in my case, I definitely believe Babs can cause this insanity.
Good luck to you and hope you can get it under control soon.
