I am going to Germany April 3. Flying into Frankfurt and then taking the Ice train to Karlsruhe, where Mr. Klein will be picking me up. What lovely people. They have been so helpful.
I hope I am strong enough to make the trip.
Right now I am on supplements only. Should I be on anything else?
I try and clear out my body with colonics, lymph
massages. , but I am sick for days after.
I am going over with my temporary crowns. My mouth is so sensitive from having the gums cut back.
I am taking all my test results,,,is that all I need?
I was reading about the AI treatment (maybe I should of waited).
If anyone can give me some further info,I would surely appreciate it. Atheana

I was not taking any meds or supps when I went. I suggest you bring anything you are taking regularly to your 1st appt with Dr W. He can then tell you whether or not it is compatible with bionic tx...
Best of luck!

I didn't take anything but what was necessary when I was over there (iron, thyroid, etc.). I brought my vitamins, but just felt that they were too much.
Sounds like you're all set. Have a great trip!

My husband and I are also going to Germany. Our first appointment with Dr. W. is April 9th.
I'm glad to see that you will be there when we are, Atheana. It will be nice to have someone from Lymenet to commiserate with!
I have not made a reservation yet at the Klein's but will tomorrow.
I have a couple of questions for those that have already been to Germany...
I asked Dr. W's office how long I need to be off abx prior to treatment and they said one week...does this sound right?
I plan to buy nosodes while over there. I see that people have purchased these at Meripharm in Baden-Baden...is there also another pharmacy that sells them (it seems I remember "Stauphen" something but can't find it now).
How did you decide what nosodes to buy? Is it correct that you cannot purchase co-infection nosodes in Germany & is best to purchase those from Deseret Biological in the US and take them along?
I am considering purchasing a Bionic 880 before we leave the US & having it sent over to avoid the VAT issue and also avoid carrying it back in carry-on luggage....is this a good idea or better to purchase while in Germany (I did see zombie's post that she had received here VAT & had posted the paperwork from the US).

KiatlinB - I have two friends that will be there from March 28 through April 20th, one is a doctor so there will be lots of Americans there.
The manufacturer of the bionic has told me in the past that there is a good chance you might never receive the machine if you try to have it sent to the US. Better chance in Canada.
If you know you have co-infections, viruses, etc., you can purchase nosodes at the places you mentioned but I don't believe anyone has found babesia or bartonella. Could be wrong.
Best not to have the machine as a carry on piece. You will have a letter to carry it back but pack it in a hard suitcase with clothes and check it.

you should be off of abx 2 weeks before going, according to dr w.
i bought no nosodes while there. i was treated with my own blood, though, as well as bb nosodes, so who knows, maybe that tackled the babs and myco as well.
i *think* you should plan on only doing what dr w tells you, for your actions post-germany.
there are ways to get coinfection nosodes in the usa, to bring with you for testing.
you can also look online for bicom users or muscle testers in colorado, who can test you for those coinfections once you return. above all, keep in mind that each patient will have a different protocol for future treatments, if needed, once returning to the usa. it's not like using abx, it is much more individualized.
btw, get on the klein's apartments asap. you are cutting it close!
best of luck, feel better

Be prepared to feel really bad after the flight -it really did me in...
I have trouble walking and used wheelchair service to get on and off the plane.
We went over on Lufthansa. Their staff was so kind to me and they really went out of their way to accommodate my special needs. I am on a totally grain-free diet and could not eat any of the airline meals. The Purser got me a big pile of fresh fruit from 1st class so I would have something. He was AMAZING, so kind and helpful.

Thank you everyone for the information & advice.
Two weeks without abx concerns me...after 2 days without meds my symptoms come back quickly. Do you think I could just take Malarone (on the theory it only affects babs and wouldn't drive the Lyme deeper into tissues)?
I'm sorry the flight was so difficult for you, zombie. Flying is stressful and I often have worsening of symptoms afterwards...I will be prepared to feel unwell. We are also flying Lufthansa...good to know they were so helpful to you.

Kaitlin, I would call Dr. W's office about the abx. In the past he has said to be off for one week so maybe things have changed.

If I had to do it all over again, I wish I would have brought coinfection nosodes with me, to have Dr W test for on the Bicom.
