I was standing in front of the sink, brushing my teeth, washing face, brushing hair, etc., and I looked down into the sink and somoe kind of bug was there.
I immediately thought it was a tick so I trapped it. It has 3 legs down each side and is about as big as 2 penicl erasers but not "engorged" big. It's also brown with black spots on it's back.
I think it has wings as well because it seemed to try and fly and when it did it made a buzzing sound. I looked at pictutes and can't identify it.
I read that ticks don't have wings and can't fly but I still have it trapped and am a little freaked as to HOW it got there.....off of me??? Man I'm paranoid!

Doesn't sound like it is a tick sweetie....Bugs are all over Florida. I am sitting here right now with them flying around me out on the lani:)
Little buzzard will probably suffocate in the container. Relax.

Ticks have 8 legs and don't fly, thank God.

I left the lid off partially because if it wasn't a tick, I didn't want to kill it :-(
Ok...I'll let it out, if it's still alive.

Head lice have 3 legs down each side and a kind of pattern on the back. Look them up. I only know because we have just been through an outbreak in my daughters pre-k class and they had someone come in and show us lice. But lice do not fly so if you can see wings, it is not a louse for sure.

Insects==six legs and wings, always, ticks aren't insects they are arachnids. Eight legs, never wings basically

Just a Florida b-u-g out for a wander. Probably saw the light on & decided to sneak in. Then it saw you moving & decided to check ya out. (Probably found the Sink much more interesting...)
Either let it go... or stick it in the frig. They add some flavor on the eggs in the A.M.
