I've been using Nutramedix Quina from Cowden's protocol and made some great gains initially but my progress seems to have stalled for the last while even although I've continued to work up to the full dosage of 30 drops 2 x day.
Nutramedix uses cinchona calisaya bark in their product while Raintree's is cinchona succirubra. Quinine content for Cowden's type is rated as 0-4% with 3-7% total alkaloids while Raintrees is rated higher at 4-14% quinine content with total alkaloids of 6-16 % (according to information on the Raintree website).
I'm wondering if my progress would continue with the higher content of quinine and alkaloids.
(I don't know if this would make a difference but the Nutramedix liquid says it is quina bark extract from cinchona calisaya while the Raintree's says it is pure bark powder from cinchona succirubra.)
Experience or thoughts anyone?

Bumping for those with babesia. I am thinking about ordering this, actually. Will ask my LLMD.

Thanks for bumping.
Please let us know what your doc says. I haven't been able to make contact with anyone who has tried it.
It sounds like it might be worth a try but I have a cupboard full of 'stuff' i've thought that about.
The quinine and alkaloid content is higher in the Raintree's but I know Nutramedix makes quality products.
I guess it would depend on what Nutramedix means by the word extract - if it has been enhanced somehow.

I'm also considering the Amazon A-P from the same company, which has quinine in it. Maybe because there are so many ingredients, it would cover more bases with resistance issues? That is one idea.

I just ordered some of Raintree A-P.
I take Nutramedix Quina occasionally so i'll be able to compare.
