Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing okay today.

I have been having these episodes after I take Doxy for the past two weeks,

Since I added Bactrim.

I get extremely numb all over but it feels almost near my skin and not nerve if that makes sense,

I get this intense fear, where I think every sound is someone in the house,

Then shaking chills and sweats, and then flu like symptoms and I want to cry for some reason.

then it passes...

This only began after beginning bactrim 2 weeks ago.

Is it a massive herx? Or just symptoms?

I am on doxy 200 mgs 2x per day with 1 1/2 Bactrim.

Really? THis makes me feel a lot better. Strange thing is that is happens 2 -3 hrs after Doxy, but not when I take the bactrim.

My poor husband, who had to check the house 3 times last night

for burglars! Rationally, I know it's not real,

but I still need him to check.

Poor guy he is soo tired everyday from my antics.

My Sister had good herxes on Doxy-she's now on Minocycline and Azithromycin, and the Azith makes her herx, but not as much as the Doxy did.

She also gets the chills, sweats and flu like symptoms while herxing-good signs that the ABX are working.

Your ABX combo sound like the right ones!

If you're hearing things, try a sound machine that creates soothing sounds, or white noise to drown out any noises you hear. If your noises are phantom, then you need to retrain your ears/brain to realize theres nothing there. If you have a dog, let your dog bark for burglars and if you hear something, ignore it. I can totally relate....

Wimenin, lol about the noise machine.

My husband ALWAYS has the humidifier running just for the fan noise to drown out any noises that might be outside.

Sometimes I think I hear music in the house or someone talking while the fan is running. Eventually I realize it's some kind of sound mirage due to the fan.

So just be aware, laurisabelle, that that's possible too. [Razz]
