I got my results from my abdominal ultrasound and CT scan of liver and spleen I had last week. The results are as follows:

1. Liver has a cyst, no biggie, very common
2. Spleen has a cyst, no biggie, very common
3. Gallbaldder has sludge, no biggie, from being on Rocephin

I'm just a little concerned the splenic cyst wasn't there when I had an abdominal ultrasound about two months ago, but the liver cyst was. I guess it's nothing to worry about, and none of this needs any follow up.

Nodules on Lungs:

Who knows what they are, the doctor said they could be anything including "snot." He said in 99% of cases they are nothing. I need to have another CT scan of my chest in three months. I also need to get the films of the one I had when they pulled my PICC line January 30th from one hospital and bring it to the hospital that did the one on March 7 so they can compare the pictures; he said it is possible these were there then but nobody noticed, etc.

So bottom line, he said in about 1 % of cases, yes, it turns out to be lung cancer, but he sees things like this all the time and he is not worried at all.

So repeat CT scan in June. I guess all is good, now on to the hematologist on March 31st and her plan of treatment for the blood clotting stuff and a line.....

Meanwhile my liver functions are very high but I am taking double of the supplements I am supposed to take (Milk Thistle and Allicin) to address that.

Phew!

I was JUST on Lymefriends wondering if there was any news about your health stuff. That's wonderful to hear- second (and third and fourth) opinions...

Great news that everything looks good!

While I was on IM generic rocephin my herbalist was muscle testing and said I wasn't digesting fats properly and that I shouldn't take fish oil without a product called hi-lipase which helps to digest fats.

She knows nothing about rocephin and it's reputation for causing problems with the gall bladder/fat digestion and I forgot about it until I went home and started to wonder why I wasn't digesting fats. DUH!

You might consider taking something to help you digest fats while you are on rocephin. Perhaps that will keep the sludge down and put less strain on your gallbladder?

Ah Geneal, you are so awesome. I love the way you put things into words.

I meant to thank everyone for their prayers. Funny thing is, as soon as the doctor told me the results, I almost blurted out, "Wow, all those prayers from Lymenet and LymeFriends really worked! And my mother's prayer group!"

Thank you everyone for your nice messages. I hope with this stress off my shoulders, this fatigue will start to lift and I'll feel better.

HAHAHAHA Betty....

Today I actually drove myself to the hospital to get my heplock changed, then went to a craft store and a party store looking for green ribbon so I can start working on Project Trish. I didn't find any, though, that wasn't super expensive. I'm going to check online at some wholesalers; I want a whole lot of it anyway!

So I thought on the ride home, this is GREAT, I'm driving, I went to the store myself, (honestly cannot remember the last time I did that, surely it's been way over a year), and I was thinking I'm going to get home and take the dogs on a 2 1/2 mile walk!

I walked in the door and crashed; I'm in bed now about to take a nap.

I think I underestimated how worried I was and how much pushing all that worry away (as I am ever so skilled at doing) was taking it's toll on my body.
