Recently i had both lyme and co-infections tested.

Melisa labs in Germany tests the following for co-infections:
Babesia
Bartonella
Ehrlichia

It came back negative, and the Lyme test was positive.
I have read co-infections tests are not reliable, but are these 3 antigens thewy test for sufficient?
is there any they have not tested for which are important to?

By the way i had the LTT-MELISA test and was positive for:
B.Garinii
and
B.Sensu stricto

thanks

thanks feelfit.

Its not so much about testing in the UK, just whether this test i had tested for all the right co-infections and if it missed any out?

adamtt, I'm not much of an expert at all, being new to this myself, but my LLMD tested me for Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia.

He also tested for mercury.

It seems to me your doctor's initial testing was reasonable. As time goes on if you feel you are not recovering as best you can, he may want to test you for other things too. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with what they would be.

Hopefully someone else will see your question and give you more information.
