Hi everyone,.

Recently diagnosed with chronic lyme, and have been written this prescription:

tinidazole - mon-thu - 500mg twice daily
cefuroxime - mon-thu - 500mg twice daily

azithromyxcin - fri-sun - 250mg - twice daily

All for 12 weeks.

This is to attack all forms of lyme; spirochete, "L" form, cyst form.

Any thoughts on this treatment?

thanks

Looks good to me. Do you have any coinfections?

great,
however i am planning not to take the Cefuroxime as i have read in books and in articles that cell wall inhibitors (cefuroxime) are not advised as they just force spiropchetes into more dangerous forms- "L" form and Cyst form.

Also both Tinidazole and Azithromycin are capable of attacking the Spirochete form , and im considering buying a rife machine = which kills spirochetes effectively.

P.s. i was tested for co-infections and they came back negative.
I think i have had lyme for 7-10 years

thank you

Do you have a LLMD? If so why not do what they say. They have treated many patients and know what has worked for others.

Its your health. I follow my LLD's advice.

and if i done thqat i would be on a cell-wall inhibitor - IV Ceftriaxone, which not only wouldnt help but also cost me 17,000

It would help. You are on drugs to go after the other two forms at the same time. If the cost is too much, I'd ask him for something else that is more affordable .... but do what he says with the three meds. I made the most progress on cell wall inhibitors.

Oh, and if you take Plaquenil with the Zith, it will work better.

Don't trust coinfection testing, go by symptoms. If your symptoms indicate co's, then talk to your LLMD about it. My coinfection testing was negative, but it's clear I have bart and babs ... that was confirmed by my response to treatment of bart and babs.

take the ceftin

well wall inhibitors work well

dont be scared about what roesner says

do what works 4 u

bicillin IM helped me the MOST by far and got my life back (after 2 yrs tx tho....)

good luck. youll be ok in a couple yrs.
remain positive and diligent in your attack

creat a multi faceted approach and it will help you regain health

do not overlook detox and metals

be sure to have a provoked urine analysis test for the metals.

there is a lot of info here on LN

read w/ caution tho as the ridiculous info is as prevalent as the good stuff

derek

ceftin is a good abx...the crap about 'chasing' the bugs into cyst form is conjecture at best....my best progress came from beta lactams and macrolides plus bactrim.

If that generic form of Ceftin is too expensive, a cheaper replacement could be amoxicillin. It's pretty cheap.

amoxi is very effective in high doses in combo with other abx and tini.
