Is there anything that helps with the horrible taste Biaxin leaves in your mouth?

I brush my teeth a million times a day.... But Iwill say after a few weeks the tatste does go away. I don't really even notice anymore. How long have you been on it?
Peanut butter helps too

It took about 3-4 months, but yes the taste goes away.
I think someone here said salty potato chips helped.
I didn't find anything that did....except time.
Also generic biaxin gives a "worse" taste than real biaxin.

I think there is a "slow release" version that I took and the taste wasn't as strong.

I made sure to take it after a big meal. In the beginning I took it with salt and vinegar chips and that helped a lot!
Biaxin was an amazing abx. for me! I was on it, all but 4 months of my entire lyme treatment( 17 months total on abx) and am in remission today! I did do some alternative things as well like rifing, IRT, some herbs, infrared treatment, etc., but biaxin definitely killed some bugs for me for sure!
Good luck!

I found the generic time-release version [of "Biaxin XL"] to give much less [metallic] taste than the regular Rx version. But maybe it wasn't as potent? (I Hope not. $$$!)

I found that potato chips did help.

Yes, the XL .. drink water every time the taste gets bad. Chips work, but will feed yeast, adding to your list of problems.

Sorry but I don't know what the XL is?

I think XL is the time released version.

Interesting that this drug seems to be having an effect. It is the one recommended for the parasite I am investigating.
