posted this on "seeking a doctor" but not much traffic there...
Tomorrow we're going to make an appointment for my wife with Dr.R. As I understand he comes highly recommended.
Can anybody give me their experiences (positive or negative)?
Also I heard he treats aggressively - my wife would implode if dosed aggressively. We're hoping he can work with the patient's limitations.

yaniv, U might try checking in w/ "tdtid" as she's currently under his care. I believe her website, open to the public, is caringbridge.com/visit/cathygk She posts a running acc't of her experiences, as she treats for Lyme & "co-"s.

You can ask "Clarissa", here on lymenet. She and her mother have referred many dozens of their friends to Dr R.

When I scheduled my first appointment with another doctor I regret researching first and then scheduling because I had a three months wait after I scheduled my first appointment.
Your first appointment will probably be in a while, you can always cancel if you decide another doctor is a better later.

I understand that his practice is filling up ,in part due to another LLMD closing her practice and referring patients to him.
So, make your appointment soon. I have heard great things about him from his patients.

I went to him, but he doesn't take insurance so I couldn't keep seeing him. The only thing I didn't like was the kinesiology test. It made me feel like a brain surgeon was reading tarrot cards before he was going to operate on me.

I see Dr. R as "Kete-tracker" said. I've been seeing him since last June.
I am on IV treatment, but each case is individual and I know some seeing him that are on the oral protocols.
I've been responding very well with him. (He's my second LLMD since I was referred by my first when it was felt my treatment needed to be more aggressive).
He and his P.A. Carolyn have been wonderful. PM me if you need specific questions answered.

Lots of positive things to say about him.

forgot to mention... will treat aggressively only if needed. I know someone who is NOT being treated aggressively since she is responding well to a more "gentle" protocol. PM if you have any questions.

He treated me, my mother, ny brother and sister-in-law. We are ALL in remission now. My bro and sister-in-law now run yearly marathons.
He is smart, kind, funny and honest when he doesn't know an answer. He is my personal hero.
