I did a search and actually found one member that described exactly what I am experiencing but unfortunately last time they logged on was in 2004.
Was just curious if there was anyone else out there that was experiencing this and if any of your treatment had any effect on it.
My LLMD suspects Bartonella for that particular symptom.
I've been to 3 urologist and all they offer me is that it must be prostatitis.

from what i understand, lyme itself can cause this and dr k in seattle points out that mycoplasma likes to hide out in the urethra. it should go away. personally, if the ur cannot present any bacteria in any fluids, though, and you haven't tested positive for bartonella, i'd get off of the levaquin he's probably put you on. do you have muscle tightness in pelvic floor? perhaps clamidiya remember- lyme goes into bladder/urinary system as a way for it to spread back into nature. it has been a common thing in men with lyme doa prostatitis search feel better!

I get this with high candida or mixed fungal problem. Goes away with aggressive systemic fungal treatment.

My 5 year old was showing bart symptoms (anger, rages, migrating muscle pain) and then also started having pain in his penis, even after urinating. On the second day of this pain, he started Rifampin, and that was the first of his bart symptoms to disappear.

Mycoplasa, chlamydia, Bart, can all do this. A Fluroquinolone would work on all of them. Factive is a good choice.

Is it burning? I had this and had a cystoscopy. They found I had Cystitis Glandularis. I had surgery to remove the cysts and it brought me great relief.

Look up Proteus bacteria on Wiki. It talks all about UTI infection and lyme co-infections.
Symptoms can also often be from fungals, or from both at the same time.

Try cantharis C 30 several times a day, should give some relief.
